Ok, so what is Grace on Football?
This is a newsletter about kicking a ball around for 90 minutes. I try to look at things through the lens of stats and tactics, but at the same time incorporating more conventional discussion and hopefully making this thing actually fun to read. There’s a lot of discussion on the Premier League, but it’s not limited to any one topic that way.
Who the hell are you, anyway?
I’m Grace Robertson. I’ve written a lot of words on football for StatsBomb, Liverpool.com and elsewhere, as well as being a part of FiveThirtyEight’s soccer chats. I also write about other topics, publishing an irregular pop culture newsletter and occasionally turning up in Vanity Fair. But this newsletter here is all football, all the time.
What do I get for subscribing?
I publish one article a week for free, and another exclusively for paid subscribers. Generally the paid edition comes midweek and the free version on Friday/Saturday.
Do you have any cherry-picked quotes from fancy people to make you sound good?
Do I ever!
