I think CM, CB and striker should be the primary focus this Summer. Dalot isn't world-class but he's pretty solid. He and AWB are fine as is Shaw (presuming healthy). A hybrid FB/CB option might be ideal someone in the ilk of Ben White who could play both positions if needed. But for now those are fine. CM needs overhauling though as does the #9. If they can nail those they should be a good bet for top 4 next year.
I do disagree with resting Rashford though. Unless there is potential for longterm damage they should play him as soon as possible. UCL is needed for both FFP and (more importantly) recruiting. Think it might be hard to convince someone like Rice to forego an offer from a team in the UCL and go with United.
One thing they should not do is go for Kane. I am sure there will be temptation given Casemiro's and Eriksen's age but I agree they are several years away and signing Kane does not push the needle far enough to bypass City. A younger option makes much more sense.
